Larry Kay, President and Creator. Award- winning producer, writer and designer of children’s media, his credits include Disney, The Muppets, The Pink Panther and Freddi Fish. He is currently writing a book due for release in 2010 with Dawn Sylvia-Stasiewicz, dog trainer for the Obama and Kennedy families. A regular contributor to Dog Fancy magazine’s "Dogs and Kids" section, Larry continues to grow his reputation as an expert in the pet industry. Inspiration for animal Wow was derived from Higgins, Larry’s friend of 13 years, a golden retriever who now likes to sleep in the sun and dream of the days when he chased squirrels. Larry holds an M.S. in telecommunications, from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University, a B.A. from the University of California Berkeley and taught at NYU’s film and television school.
Sharon Brown, Director of Business Development. Originally from Boston, she had the pleasure of working with The Boston Bruins as well as The Boston Celtics pro teams. Her true passion has always been related to working with non profit organizations. While working for Seamonds & Company Public Relations, she learned the art of elevating the platform of the corporate client as well as that of the non profit partner. Her pet industry related campaigns include; Monty Roberts Join Up, Wellness Pet Foods, MSPCA and MSPCA Nevins Farm, Tufts International Pet Expo and most recently Animal Wow. She is a member of PRSA, founded The River Public Relations and is the owner and operator of Sharon Brown Inc., a media relations and marketing company.
Lauren Wygant, Director of Humane Education. She is a nationally-recognized educator who specializes in teaching children about pets. Certified with honors, SPCA Trainers Academy, AKC-CGC evaluator, Red Cross instructor, Director of Training for K9 Sports National Iron Dogs Camps.
Andrea Tompkins, Educational Media Specialist. Her credits include Jay-Jay the Jet Plane, Berenstain Bears, Zula Patrol, PBS, Nelvana, Center for Media Literacy. She hold an M.A. in Educational Psychology from USC, and a B.A. and Certification in Early Childhood Development from UCLA.
Jimmy Hammer, Music Director. An award-winning composer and producer of children's songs and music for many television series, commercials, sound recordings, theme parks, computer games, and toys. His credits include Disney, The Muppets, Universal Studios, EPCOT, ABC, NBC.
Noelle Fuoco, Associate Producer & Writer. She and Stately Mutt write "Stately Sniffs the Web." A recent graduate from The Newhouse School at Syracuse University, Noelle has been a coordinator for a local PBS show and a promotions assistant for a local Fox Network channel.
